I was tasked to write scripts and longer-form posts that yes, were more complicated than the dumbed-down narratives we’re used to seeing in beauty, but told the full story on topics audiences tend to miss out on. As posts like these continued to perform well, we built ongoing trust with our audience: we believed they’d give us their attention on information that mattered, they appreciated our willingness to share and kept asking for more.
